Bitmap editor

Real-DRAW is absolutely unique in the way it combines vector and bitmap editing. You can transform each form into another in such way that it is hard to tell if the resulting object is a vector or a bitmap.

"Simple" Drawing
How about the fact that you can actually treat your drawing the same way as a vector object? You can resize it, rotate it, apply shadow, bevel, lights, transparency... again in the same non-destructive way as with vector objects.

On the image above we simply created a painting with a brush. Anything you paint becomes a normal object in the layer structure - so we copied it few times, resized it and applied various effects. Again as with vector objects, anything you apply is always fully editable, you can change it, remove it, or add a new effect.

As for the bitmap editing itself, you have the same kind of sets of brushes and cloning tools that you usually find only in top bitmap editing packages. You don't have to just paint with an airbrush, you have the ability to use Artistic brushes, 3D brushes or Image Nozzle - again with total flexibility.

Paint with style! Use various paint techniques, oil, watercolor - or go for Van Gogh style. Use 3D brushes if you feel you're getting bored! If this is still not enough use Image Nozzle.

But it doesn't end with these simple effects. You can create your own brushes - and Real-DRAW is the best software for creating such custom tools.

Painting the other way around
We have seen that it is easy to apply vector effects to a bitmap drawing. How about the opposite way - giving a vector drawing the property of a bitmap.
One of the most unique inventions in Real-DRAW is the ability to draw inside the vector objects. This allows you to do something no other package will let you - the ability to change and adjust the shape of your painting in a fully-vectorised way.

On the image above we simply painted inside a vector circle. Now if we need to change the shape - no problem, it is a vector object!

For the first time in a vector drawing package you are able to easily create a true painting, with all the benefits of vector drawing and without complexity!

One of the most amazing thing about Real-DRAW is that it can create a huge range of image types, from rendered-like scenes to watercolor illustrations - and everything in between.

The image on the left is again a vector drawing. While the pen and watch are pure vector objects, the hand was created with the techniques described above. Each finger is in fact a separate vector object with a painted texture. This allowed us to easily insert the pen between the fingers!

See in full size.

More realism than ever.
By applying a Surface Skin properties (new in 2.3) you can push your creativity to the new limits. Make your airbrush painting looks like the real thing with Real-Draw PRO!

Of course, Real-DRAW also has the ability to load and edit bitmaps, add/remove transparency and more... all the standard options most other packages offer as 'features'.

But if you think this is the end, you are wrong. How about we throw in some 3D properties?
