Vector editor
While Real-DRAW produces amazing rendered-like objects with photo-realistic effects and textures, they still remain vector objects! This means you can change anything you want - any time you want - with all the familiar tools.

Each vector object has a set of variable properties also called formatting. By changing these properties you can totally change its appearance. You can add hundreds of textures, add a shadow, bevel, extrude, outline, transparency, lights and much more.

Above is one text object with a variety of simple properties added. Each property can be added and combined, yet you can still edit the basic picture or text vector! This is true flexibility, yet at this stage we're only using the most basic 2D vector tools.
There are advanced tools such as BOOLEAN operations, fitting objects to a path etc.
 |
 |
 |
| Create more complex objects from primitives using BOOLEAN operations such as XOR, UNION, INTERSECT or SUBTRACT.
You can even Un-Combine the objects later if you want.
|
Text or any Polynome can follow any other path - even very complex ones.
|
You can apply envelope editing to a vector object to disort it in different ways. |
But you can do much more...
 |
 |
 |
 |
| You have seen some effects already, but how about adding a true lens characteristic to any object ? |
You have the
ability to adjust any detail of the object texture - even
Perspective! |
Objects are always
editable? Yes, that's right - you can even adjust the sparkle
on the image above - anytime!
What you see above was created using only 3 objects. |
The only thing difficult about
Real-DRAW is describing all the things it can do!
How about pasting the previous image inside a new object like
this? |
Real-DRAW Pro has many new and never before seen tricks for vector editing
 |
Look at this image, nothing special just three interlocking rings. Simple, but to create such image in any traditional vector editor would be a lot of work. Any normal editor place each object in the layer but here we have 3 objects which obviously break this rule - by looking at the image you can't specify which ring is on top and which on bottom.
Real-DRAW PRO has an unique Push-Back tool which lets you simply "push" any part of vector or bitmap object into different layer.
Creating the image on the left is a breeze with Real-DRAW PRO and it takes no more than one minute.
|
There are many other features such as vectorizing bitmaps or Packaging which makes the Real-DRAW PRO one of the most interesting graphic editors around.
Do you think that vector graphics cannot be realistic? You haven't tried Real-DRAW yet!
You will have a hard time finding other software which can produce the realistic images of Real-DRAW while using such a small number of objects.
 |
See in full size.
Thanks to the multiple effects such as lights and bevels the number of objects needed to draw this image remained low. Also, you have the ability to create your design in Packages - groups of separate, logical sub-projects.
How many objects do you think were used for the glass on the lens? Exactly one. Now this would be impossible in other vector editors.
You
may not believe that the image on the left could be purely
a vector drawing. But it's true, only vector objects with
various properties were used to draw this image in Real-DRAW. |
To be honest while the features of most of other drawing packages stop here, this is just a beginning, the simple core of Real-DRAW. There is much more to come on the following pages:
