Cranky Man’s EP Project Manager(Currently Windows only)
EP Project Backup Manager
EP Backup Manager lets you back up and restore individual projects on EP-40 / EP-1320 / EP-133 series devices without breaking your sample assignments. It analyzes your project, saves only the files it actually uses, and restores everything with smart slot mapping — so your project loads correctly even if your device is already packed with sounds.
•Backs up one project at a time, including the project file and only the user samples that project uses•Creates a portable backup package: an .epbackup file plus a folder with the project and its WAV samples•Restores projects to any slot while keeping pad assignments intact•Automatically finds new slots when conflicts happen and updates the project so pads still point to the right sounds•Reuses samples that are already on the device save memory and transfer time•Lets you preview sounds, manage individual samples, and track free memory.
What it does
The Key Feature: Smart Slot Remapping
•When restoring a project, EP Backup Manager checks each sample against what’s already on your device:•If the original slot is empty, the sample goes right back where it came from•If that slot is taken by a different sound, the app finds a free slot and updates the project to use it•If the same sample already exists on the device, it simply reuses it. No re-upload needed•The result is a clean restore with all pad assignments preserved, without any manual fixing.
Cranky Man’s Visual Multi-Sample & Drum Kit Creation for Teenage Engineering EP Series of Sampler and Sequencer (Currently Windows only)
Cranky Man built this because the EP does a lot more than it lets on. Under the surface there’s a surprisingly deep engine with features that are either undocumented, half-exposed, or completely inaccessible from the device itself. This software exists to get at all of that without losing your mind.Read more here…
