What’s new
DPHDR6 software goes far beyond the HDR tone-mapping task. Instead it is now a fully mature graphical
workbench that can as easily work with a single image as well as with multiple bracketing shots
•
fully 64-bit application
•
complete redesign, from scratch
•
in average it is more than 2 times faster thas version 5
•
clean, consistent, logical and resizable interface, as little modal windows as possible
•
resizable window preview with clearly layed out controls
•
Improved and more confident auto-align
•
the old one-way approach (load->align->hdr->tonemap) is redesigned and those steps are now accessible
at any time - so you can easily jump to any step from any other step. This opens up the flexibility and
consistency - you can process first files, then just load different files and they will be automatically
processed the same way.
•
fully template based approach - design your favorite workflow then save it as an template
•
all processing are now done in high precision, including all the effects
•
brand new, state-of-the-art de-noising
•
effects are now hugely expanded with multiple layers and wast processing possibilities (think of auto-
painter Layers combined with Reactor effects - but instead of reactor advanced nodal approach you work
in a photoshop way where you pile up the live effects in layers)
•
there are no more modes you must choose in advance like HDR, Pseudo HDR or Fussion. It is all
combined. So you can easily switch from pseudo hdr to hdr or fusion during tone-maping
•
much easier to use batch processing that can do auto-aligning.
Version 6 interface had been fully redesigned - in fact instead of
patching the DPHDR 5 code, we just started from scratch.
It has now a very consistent interface with clearly defined
“steps”, accessible through the tab bar.
And now, first time ever you can jump between those steps as
you please without re-loading the files. You can change HDR
options, set some effects then jump and fix align. Or just load
new files and all what you had done previously will be applied to
them.
The anti-ghost mask and Auto-Ghost removal is now integrated in the HDR tuning
step where you can immediatelly see the result.
Auto-Ghosting
was available
previous in
HDR Fusion,
now it is
available
globally for all
operators
All operators are now combined in the Tone-Mapping step, there is no separate HDR
Fusion fork as in DPHDR 5. All is accessible regardless if you load one image or
multiple bracketed shots.
Effects had been moved to its own much more expanded step.
The Effect part is where DPHDR 6 really shines.
All the editing is done in layers where you can
add, change or remove effects as you want and
in any order you want.
All effects are fully dynamic and can be applied
at any time or even multiple times.
Furthermore, the effects can be clipped to a
layer or used as a mask.
This way you can create your own very complex
dynamic effect and save it to presets.
You can also add external textures and masks
into your Layers creating infinite possibilities of
spicing up your images.
And the best news is that all this is fully accessible through batch processing as well.
Just add your image sets to the batch list and let it run. Everything will be applied to your
images automatically including the effects.
